The unique, patented, stacked-plate design of Ford Racing HD transmission coolers offers a 35 percent improvement in efficiency over fin-and-tube coolers. These coolers weigh only 2.5 lbs., but have a full 18,000 lb. GVW rating. Their self-regulating design bypasses cold transmission fluid automatically, without thermostats or valves, until its viscosity decreases and allows fluid to flow through the main body of the cooler. The coolers come with hose, clamps, fittings, and mounting hardware.
